• Amarr Heritage 3000 strut failure. The Heritage 3000 is a steel pan door that shows up on a lot of Corona homes built in the early 2000s. The top section strut, the horizontal metal brace that keeps the panel rigid, pulls loose at the center hinge over time. When that strut separates, the top panel bows and the door binds halfway up the track. We replace the strut and re-rivet the hinge points rather than selling a whole new door.

The Stratford’s bottom retainer, the aluminum channel that holds the astragal weatherstrip, tends to collect gravel and grit from driveways and then wear through the vinyl seal at the corners.
